The Dirksens

Doug and Becky live with their three children in Colorado Springs. After years of travel together, they are glad to call Colorado Springs home. The beauty of the mountains and the adventure of living in a city that is in the shadow of a fourteener make Colorado Springs a great place to grow together.

Doug began his construction career 14 years ago as a means to achieve the goal of building his own house. Since then, residential design and construction has become a fascinating field of work. He is a licensed general contractor in the County of El Paso.

Doug and Becky founded Dirksen Construction in 2005. Nearing the end of it's fifth year, they are pleased to watch the number of satisfied clients steadily grow. Their goal is to come alongside and serve you during your renovation project. Give them a call today to start your journey!

Christian Renn

Christian Renn started working with Dirksen Construction in April of 2007. He comes to the company with a background in framing and remodeling. This has been the beginning of a new full time profession as he has spent the past 9 years working at Air Academy High School as a Certified Athletic Trainer with an education background from the University of Northern Colorado in Sports Medicine. Due to the unique evening and weekend hours of that career path and the excitement of his June, 2007 marriage to his wife Anna-Lisa he has decided to choose a more traditional work schedule to begin the foundation of his family.

Dave Hathaway

Dave and his wife Diane recently moved to Colorado Springs. Drawing from over 25 years of carpentry experience, Dave is especially gifted in kitchen and bath remodels, with skills in cabinetry and fine woodworking.

His years of experience in remodeling add great value to the Dirksen Construction team.

Theron Hathaway

Theron joined Dirksen Construction about a year ago after moving, along with his wife, Beth, and son, Perrin, from New Mexico where Theron was a residential contractor.
